Not unlike adult furniture, consistency of color and pattern is basic to a room’s design success. In designing children’s furniture, “colors should be serene, but mixed with pops of color and pattern. 

The best thing we can do as parents, is to fire the imagination of our children. Give them interesting books and the encyclopaedia. Make them watch engaging films. Tell them fascinating stories. Talk to them.
